The fastest way to get something into your bloodstream is through your skin, so it’s important to know what you are feeding it!! Clean it up with this non-toxic cleansing balm. With sandalwood + chamomile oil this is a great cleanser to have in your daily routine as you unwind rom your day, cleanse your face, and massage these calming oils (known to reduce anxiety) into your skin!
Ingredients:
1 C Coconut Oil
1/2 C finely grated Shea Butter
3 T Beeswax
1 T Apricot Oil
1 T Almond Oil
30 drops Sandalwood essential oil
20 drops Chamomile essential oil
4 drops Clove essential oil
12 drops Vitamin E
Directions:
Melt coconut oil, Shea butter, and beeswax in a double boiler or in a stainless steel bowl, sitting in a saucepan of water over a medium heat.
Once that is melted add apricot + almond oil
Remove from heat, allow to cool for about 5 minutes and whisk in essential oils and Vitamin E
Pour into a jar and leave to cool with the lid off for an hour.
TO USE: Massage balm into the skin, hold a hot cloth over the face for a moment and use the cloth to wash the oil off.
