Last year I shared how I make my homemade almond milk via my stories but didn’t include the recipe. Because this is a weekly rhythm for me and people often ask me for the recipe, I wanted to share it here to be accessed easily🤗. Super easy to make, you just have to☝🏻remember the night before to start soaking the almonds and you’ll definitely need to invest in a nut milk bag.
✨Homemade Almond Milk✨
Ingredients:
🔸1 C Almonds (raw, unpasteurized)
🔸3 1/2 C Filtered water
🔸2 dates
🔸Couple dashes of sea salt
🔸Nut milk bag ✔️
Directions:
1. Soak almonds in filtered water overnight or minimum of 8 hours. Make sure there is plenty of soaking water.
2. Drain soaking water & rinse the almonds.
3. Add rinsed almonds, filtered water, dates, + sea salt into a high speed blender
4. Blend on high for a couple of minutes.
5. Pour into a nut milk bag. Strain into a large bowl squeezing as much of the liquid out as your can.
✨Best to use within 3-4 days. ENJOY!
NOTE: If you prefer Macadamia milk -- substitute almonds with the same amount of Mac Nuts. (And BONUS you only need to soak Mac Nuts for 20-30 minutes🙌🏻)
