Tis the season for PSL (pumpkin spiced lattes) am I right?! But let’s treat our bodies well and make a drink that will nourish them! Now heres a drink to get excited about. Invite some friends over and spend time talking and catching up as you sip on this festive drink!
Ingredients:
2 T Pumpkin Puree (I prefer homemade! Just set your oven to 375F and place a small pumpkin on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 45 min-1 hour depending on size of the pumpkin. Check at 45 min. Should be tender when poked with a fork. Slice pumpkin and remove seeds and skin. Blend until smooth.)
1 T Raw Honey
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1/8 tsp Cardamom
1/8 tsp Ginger
Dash of Clove
1/4 tsp Vanilla
Espresso
1/2 - 3/4 Nut milk (I prefer homemade Almond milk)
Directions:
Heat the nut milk and blend all ingredients in a high speed blender for 30 second. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy! (I like to garnish with a few dashes of cinnamon + nutmeg)
If you have an espresso machine then place pumpkin puree, raw honey, spices, + vanilla into your favorite mug. Pull some shots and gently stir into the puree mix. Use your steam wand to steam your favorite milk. Pour on top. Garnish with spices and enjoy!
